What Tavern Does

Tavern is a Slack app that automatically pairs teammates for casual 1:1 chats. We help remote teams build relationships without the scheduling hassle.

Your Account

When you subscribe to Tavern, you're purchasing a subscription for your Slack workspace. The person who completes the checkout and Slack authorization becomes the initial admin.

You're responsible for keeping your Slack workspace secure. We can't control who has access to your workspace.

Payments and Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. When you subscribe:

• Polar handles all payment processing and invoicing
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month
• You can cancel anytime through your Polar account
• Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase - just reach out

What You Can Do

Use Tavern for its intended purpose: matching teammates for conversations.

What You Can't Do

• Use Tavern to harass, spam, or annoy people
• Try to break, hack, or reverse-engineer the service
• Resell access to Tavern
• Use Tavern for anything illegal

If you abuse the service, we may terminate your account without refund.

Service Availability

We'll do our best to keep Tavern running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes things break. We're a small team and we'll fix issues as fast as we can.

Limitation of Liability

Tavern is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we're not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service. The most we'd ever owe you is a refund of what you paid us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Tavern evolves. We'll notify subscribers of significant changes (pricing, data handling, or core functionality) via Slack or email.
